Home Building Primer
First we take time with you and offer a brief and effective ‘education’ as to what it takes to build a home, including what you, the owner, and we, the contractor are responsible for before, during, and after the home building process.

Understanding Your Needs
Next we do a ‘study’ of your life style tendencies that will affect your home and the way it should fit you and your family’s use of it.

Location and Home Plan
We can help you choose your floor plan, location, and exterior style or you may know exactly what you want already. Clients come to us at all different levels—some well planned and ready to go, others just have a few simple ideas.

Detailed Planning
If at this point you decide to become a RSCH client and execute contracts, we spend time funneling in your preferences into all elements of the home. We then start the detailed procedures and steps needed to select everything. This is anticipated to be a 4 to 12 week process depending on the complexity of the project and your ability to move through your decision process. We arrive at a final floor plan, site plan, cost, and move in date.

Build Process
Then we start the build process. We will continually update costs and schedules and have you review and approve progress at each step of the way- all available in your online account. You will have up to weekly formal reviews with the build team, constant communication from your project head, and daily web site status updates on costs and schedule.

How exciting! Your new home is complete and ready for you to move in—but wait, do you know how to maintain your home, use all of the appliances, use the electrical systems you had put in, or program the thermostat or security system?

The Rock Solid Custom Home staff organizes your home manuals for you, walks through the house with you and teaches you how to use that new state of the art system, and takes time to make sure that you are comfortable in your new dream home.
